In regards to Warp Drive / 160 H.P. Engine combinations apparently needing
something to stop blade cracking I am forwarding this to the list.

Mark Landoll (405-392-3847 )sells a damper for Lycoming engines. It bolts
on
to the back of the starter ring gear. It has a ring inside which floats in
some form of silicone to dampen out the power pulses and it adds about 12
pounds. I have not got one for my 0-320 yet but am planning to add it in
the
future as the ones I have seen do make the engine run somewhat smoother.

This fellow also sells auto conversion starters and alternators for the
Lyc's, they are priced right and work. His mounts also fit. Have both on
the 0-235 I have and have not had any problems....
