forward facing extra seat: seat belt attach

Hi all,

I am installing the foward floor and have been browsing the archives for tips
and ideas before committing to final positioning of channels and seats etc...

Wayne appears to have had his Rebel set up at some point for four seats.
Has anyone else done this? While I'm not sure I will, I like the idea of
retaining the option of a third seat facing forward. I was always
uncomfortable with the third seat perpendicular to the direction of travel. To
make this work one would need an extra set of side (top and bottom) and
floor rear seat belt attach brackets. Wayne has a description in the archives
of the placement / install of these, but a picture is worth a thousand
words....does anyone else have a copy of these that Wayne may have sent?

The really critical seat belt attach at this point in the build would be the floor
channel fitting (like that between the front seats). I was going to place a
duplicate attach fitting just forward of bulkhead A. Is this too far forward to
be of any use? Would it have to go between bulkhead A and B?

This fitting would obviously protrude from the floor as does the forward
fitting. How might this impact the utility of the rear of the aircraft in terms of
luggage, or sleeping? Having something jut out of the floor back there might
make finding a good sleeping position impossible...lest we forget the elevator
cable fairing running right down the middle of the fuselage too. Anyone
already flying have an opinion on all this? I thought about a retractable seat
belt attach fitting, but I'm reluctant to deviate from the established design
when it comes to something like this.

Thanks for your input,
Rob
