I have never tested mine in flight to full travel, and not sure that I want
to. But, like Eric and the Elite, I rarely ever touch my trim adjustment on
my Rebel. I do have the rod adjusted to use the bottom hole (longest) in the
tab horn. That limits the travel somewhat, and I only use about 1/2 inch
down (up elevator) max. So, if building, I guess it wouldn't hurt to have a
longer horn to limit the travel even further if you want and reduce the
stress on the rod.
