At the Arlington Airshow a group of us wewe talking about your 2003 Rebel Ramble to the West Coast with a stop at the Arlington Airshow.You stated in some of your news letters about dipping your toe in both oceans. I would like to suggest Copalis State Airport (4000ft hard packed sand) located about 100 nautical miles SW of Arlington on the Pacific Ocean. To my knowledge it is the only legal place for airplanes to actualy land on the ocean beach on the mainland west coast of the US. You not only could dip your toe in the water, but the airplane's wheels as well.If you want some additional information/picture on this airport let me know.
