M14P Exhaust

Post by Bill » Fri Feb 17, 2012 10:13 pm

SR/Moose related
Question #1, Does anybody know if the M14P comes with an exhaust system and/or cabin heat box? Or is it like most others and you have to find them too?
Question #2 & 3, Can anyone with the 3500 gear on tell me the distance between the wheel centers and what the height from center of axle to highest point. Trying to figure out if a QB fuselage on gear, like I believe I saw on Don Boardman's, will fit in my garage.
Thanks,
BB

[Phil McGrogan] I was sent the spec sheets from George Coy at www.gesoco.com and no, the exhaust is an added extra. The exhaust system (YAK-52 style) is $1650.00 US. The cabin heat box, I don't know.

[Phil McGrogan] Can't help you on this point as I haven't put the gear on mine yet.

My hangar neighbor built a pitts model 12. I think his engine came with an
exhaust but he sent it to Jim Kimbal enterprises to be modified. Maybe just
for the smoke injectors :)
Jim makes the model 12 kits and sometimes works with murphy on the SR
firewall forward package.
