bottom rudder bolt

Post by Murray & Carol » Fri Feb 17, 2012 10:08 pm

Hello

For anyone who is not there yet. Before you install your tail spring put the bottom rudder bolt in. It is an AN4-12H which is tooooo long to get in after the tail spring is in the way.

Good luck

bottom rudder bolt

If you cut the head off of an an4 bolt and screw it loosely into the bottom of the rudder, you can then take the rudder off and on easily for the purpose of fitting cables, tips, etc. even while the plane is on its gear. Just remember to bolt it properly before you fly it!
