would like to see how/where you cut your slots. I for one think the
prototype looks like it's got a big hole in the side the way it is done
now.

Hi Wayne,
The wrap for the belly (don't have the part # handy) on the 3500
upgrade
is
cut in half for installation. I had Murphy roll the part so it fits
tight
to
the sill. Also when cutting the gear leg slot and FL400's we made
three
slots, two for the float attach brackets and one for the gear leg.
Murphy
used a large rectangle that when it pulled up around the sill is looks
like
it gaps and bends rather sharp. Rolling eliminates the fit problem and
the
slots look clean enough that I don't need a cover over the gear leg or
the
float brackets.
