Has anyone tried using clear teflon line for fuel sight gauges? The compatibility charts for teflon are "excellent" or better on gasolines. We use it on chemical job sites for everything chemical including hydrogen peroxide at 50% which is really aggressive.
I have used it for a sight gauge on a Zenair CH701 until I sold it after a year and it was still as good as new. I used it with 93 octane Sunoco. I will try and get some samples for dunk testing on a couple of different fuels and see what happens.
