Hi Gerry,
How does a fuel injection system work - beyond me!! The major drawback
(besides weight and vibration - use a three-blade prop) we have found
with the "K" model is the sump faces the fuel servo towards the rear of
the plane, which means the intake has to take a circuitous route to the
rear facing servo. Stick with an angle valve wide deck engine as
opposed to a parallel valve wide deck or parallel valve narrow deck
engine.
Regarding 100LL, I expect the replacement of 100LL probably means you
will be using automotive gas stock with a modifier and ultimately with
the object of being less expensive than 100LL is today.
