A few days ago my mail server had an error with the post process (no
messages were being accepted), I reset the system and this problem went
away. Unfortunately, when the system was reset, the list of members of the
Rebel builders list only included 49 people... the last time I posted to it
there where 154 members. I restored the member list file from a tape backup
I had done last month, then went through the list of 49 looking for anyone
who wasn't on the file I restored. The result is a list of 139 members. If
you know some other members of the list, you may want to ask around to
ensure they are still receiving postings. If they are not, they have
probably been dropped from the list. Please let them know to send me an
e-mail, and I'll be glad to add them back to the list.
Sorry for the inconvenience, Mike

Problems with list
Problems with list
Sorry I didn't get on the system this week end everyone... I could have
fixed the problem much sooner. It appears that even though the manual says
that I can make changes to the list servers configuration with it up and
running, and the changes take effect immediately, what really happens is the
server just quits doing anything.
Once I check my e-mail and got the many reports of problems with the lists,
I started investigating, and I discovered that my system had in fact
received many e-mails addressed to the list, it had just not processed any
of them. I stopped and restarted the list server application, and bang it
started cranking out the messages.
Another lesson learned... sorry for the inconvenience.
