The Odysey batteries are excellent with low self discharge and, more important, low internal resistance so that more voltage gets to the starter motor. The only caution is be sure your charging system will put out 14.4 volts so the absorbed glass mat sealed batteries such as the Odyssey wil get a full charge. The usual 13.8 for flooded cell batteries won't do it. One newer option that I have not investigated is the lithium ion battery which is considerably lighter yet for a given power. You may wish to do your own home work on the Lion type.
