Hello everyone. I'm new to this site and to this line of aircraft (about 1 week
new). I've been asked to maintain a Moose for a customer of mine. I have
no experience with these aircraft but am a quick study. I'm an avionics
technician by trade, 15 years worth. I have a heavy background in
sheetmetal and have assisted customers in finishing a number of RV and
Zenith projects and then wired them up for them. So if anyone ever has
electrical or avionics questions, I still enjoy answering and helping out if I'm
able. So feel free.
I've been asked to install the aileron droop feature on a Moose that
the original builder felt was outside his comfort zone to install. I have an
electronic set of build manuals that I got from the current owner, but I'm
finding it hard to find information about the feature and the process of
installing it. I want to research it, talk with someone who has already
installed it on their aircraft and make sure I have all my ducks in a row
before beginning. Can anyone point me in the right direction for
information? I hope I did the address right and this gets out to everyone. :)
Thanks, Dave
