Opps that was a poor explanation sorry. The spacer goes between the channels
to make the total width of the 2 channels the same as the width of the seat
rail. The spacer could be made of anything and doesn't even have to be
permanent.

Hi Marc Double channels back to back with a spacer underneath where the
seat rails will land is a mod that quite a few have made. probably not
necessary but not hard to do.
