I ended up buying the Lotus 1260's. The already had the Rans S-7 rigging and are amphibs. They are suppose to look like new with very little time on them. The people that bought the plane they were on live in a place with little to no water so they took the floats off.
I paid $4250 for them but have a LONG drive to go get them. I am thinking they will serve my purpose for the time being and I can always upgrade later.
