Can someone tell me where to find docs or photos of the fairing strip
that's wrapped around the the mid-wing gap between flaperon sections?
This should probably be a no brainer, but... having no brain is the
problem. Thanks.

flaperon sections gap fairing
flaperon sections gap fairing
An off list response suggests to me my description of the issue may
not have been clear. The gap to which I'm referring is shown at:
http://n254mr.com/node/1759
I believe this is usually covered with an .016 wrap, roughly 3" wide,
for example, starting on the forward bottom of this gap near the
hinge, coming back along the bottom and up over the top. When it
reaches the hinge, a ~1/2" wide slot is cut in the middle of the wrap
to clear the hinge, leaving two "fingers", one on either side of the
hings, that continue on around the leading edge of the flaperon and
back, and overlap the beginning a bit.
The question is how to connect the fingers at the overlap, to secure
the wrap around, without putting two sheet metal screws (one for each
finger) into each flaperon center rib. Maybe I shouldn't worry about
two small sheet metal screws going into the flaperon ribs, but if
there's a better way... it would be better. ;-/
