The tubes will take the shape of the tire -- quite different from what
they will do in free space, as you're seeing without tires. Should be
fine. Besides, you'll be carefully checking that stem angle &
condition at every pre-flight, right? ;-)

pressure which is about 24 to 26 psi. they go real flat real quick!
-wallmart (600x6x15?)tubes eventually leak, sometimes quickly once the
leak starts. If you look closely they have numerous nicks or little
imperfections. However they are cheap,available, and easy to change.
Carry a spare and two 7/16" wrenches. You will need a scissor jack, an 8
ft. long 2x6 lever under the axle, or two guys to lift the wing, all of
which are surprisingly easy to find when the need arises...

Glide with 800 x 6 tubes and 90* bent stems. Had to drill the extruded part
of the JDM rims (slightly off center) and add an stem extender. Have not
flown then yet, any advise or concerns?

I've never heard of anyone spinning a tire on the 800x6 tires despite
them running low pressure. Avoiding pavement also helps I guess. I
suspect soft turf tires are just extra drag for anyone that has springs
instead of bungees. I stayed with cheap certified 600x6 main tires but
did find that MAM's tailwheel sunk into wet soft turf a bit.
I have had trouble finding good stem extenders. Most won't accept air or
leak when I try to add air.
