=0AHi,

there was a question left unanswered by Bob about the mixer horn.
(Bob, we got you on this one. Just kidding and thanks for the hint with=
Van's
as a resource for a baffle kit)
Stefan

This is MAM's answer from '96:
Hi, I've found that the mixer horn CC-48 is not symmetrical.
I try to "draw" it:

to torque tube
| |
| |
| |

O
o o

+--> o ---- to control column
|
|
The bottom hole is not centered with regard to the
center bearing hole. How should the horn be mounted?
With the bottom hole closer to control column or away
from the control column?

Regards, Stefan.
Stefan,

You are correct in that the mixer horn is not symetical. But i=
f you
follow the instruction, you need to make the bottom hole and the pivot =
hole,
90 degrees to the push-pull tube. When you have done this correctly, t=
he
front hole will be higher than the rear hole.

Hope this helps.

Thank you, Stefan !! I'm sure there are several builders who
appreciate
your answer !!

You DID 'get me' !! - I don't have all the answers (or even most of
them :-) ), .... just a poor 'sales guy' trying to help. You builders are
your own best resource - can't beat experience !!
