This is MAM's answer from '96:
Stefan,Hi, I've found that the mixer horn CC-48 is not symmetrical.
I try to "draw" it:

The bottom hole is not centered with regard to the
center bearing hole. How should the horn be mounted?
With the bottom hole closer to control column or away
from the control column?

You are correct in that the mixer horn is not symetical. But i=
f you
follow the instruction, you need to make the bottom hole and the pivot =
hole,
90 degrees to the push-pull tube. When you have done this correctly, t=
he
front hole will be higher than the rear hole.
