[rebel-builders] elevator/flap

Post by Ted Waltman » Sun Feb 19, 2012 8:42 pm

Hello Dave. I have pictures of my elevator cable routing, but after
bulkhead B it is custom in that I added an extended baggage area between
bulkhead B & E--hence my elevator (and rudder cables) stay under the floor
until aft of bulkhead D. Not sure my pictures in that regard will help you
if you're doing a standard install. Let me know if you want me to still
post them.

I installed electric flaps.

I might have pictures of someone else's elevator and flap cable routing
though. I'll dig through my pictures later and post them if I do.

Ted

Does anyone have photos of the elevator cable and flap cable routing. Any
help would be greatly appreciated.

Dave,

There are numerous photos on my site for Rebel cable routing which might be
helpful, though they're not for a Moose. Use the Search function to search
for "rudder cable", and "elevator cable" [no quotes] and you'll get a bunch
of stuff.

There are also several photos of Rebel installations in the Files section of
the builder's web site.

Hi Dave, I also have pictures of Elv, Rud, Flap cables. Like Ted I kept
mine below the floor, mine go past bulkhead "G" to keep the floor clean and
for ease of maintenance.
My electric flap motor is under the floor on the right side and the flap
cable runs up the right side between bulkhead 7 & 8.
Let me know if you want more info & pictures
