I just used one foot behind the hinge * 12 ft = 12 sq. ft.
One surprise question to me on the inspection was the deflection of all
the controls in each direction. He didn't care what the numbers were but
he needed to fill in all the blanks with something. Don't remember
whether he wanted degrees or inches of deflection.
