[rebel-builders] Amphib tire and tube

Post by Ken » Sun Feb 19, 2012 6:30 pm

I have the Aircraft Specialties tires from aircraft spruce. It is what
they sell for the Scott 3200 tailwheel. More money but probably as good
as anything out there. However it is also made in China now.

Maybe good that it was your nosewheel because if your mains are like
mine I think a flat will destroy the brake caliper.

Got a flat while taxing for take-off at the Arlington show. Was able to patch
the tube but there is a bit of a slice in the tire. Can't seem to find a suppler
out west that has the CARLISLE 2.80x2.50-4 Ply for the front tire. AS has
the azusa brand in that size, anyone use these?
