Problem

I am trying to preadjust my p/p tubes, but have hit a snag.
I do not have enough stick travel to get full up or down aileron
The control stick bases CC-36 hit the ends of the rectangle
cut outs in the control column CC-35.
The way I see it I have two options # 1 grind the openings longer,
which would give me longer stick movement, or # 2 shorten
the throw on the bell crank CC47-2 ( drill a 1/4" hole closer to the
center of the bell crank ) which would require more muscle
to move. Has enyone else had this problem? If so how was it
resolved? Open for sugestions.
