[rebel-builders] Annual Inspection Worksheet

Post by Scott Berry » Sun Feb 19, 2012 5:58 pm

Eric,

Thanks dude for the upload. A question what file format are you using for
these inspections and POH's? Is it Microsoft Word?

I have uploaded the Annual Inspection Worksheet that I developed for my
Elite on 1800 Murphy amphib floats and conventional gear. It also targets
a
carbureted constant speed engine. I used this worksheet for my initial FAA
inspection and updated it again at my recent annual.

The file is uploaded to the Elite-General Documentation section.

I'm sure it is missing important items, but should be useful for
developing
your own inspection lists and procedures.

Enjoy,

[rebel-builders] Annual Inspection Worksheet

The POH is in Microsoft Word format and the Inspection Worksheet in Excel.

They were created with older software, so you shouldn't need latest and
greatest.

I haven't used the free open source office software that is available on the
internet, but there shouldn't be a problem.

[rebel-builders] Annual Inspection Worksheet

Post by Gary Gustafson » Sun Feb 19, 2012 5:58 pm

Really nice and useful Inspection worksheet to record annuals, etc.
looks pretty complete, but will adapt to peculiarities of my plane
when the time comes. Very good starting point. Thanks.

[rebel-builders] Annual Inspection Worksheet

Post by Eric Fogelin » Sun Feb 19, 2012 5:58 pm

I was beginning to think I was running out of things to post, but I
remembered how confused I was with all of the logbook entries that you need
to take care of once you are an officially flying aircraft.

There are specific logbook entries that are required for your FAA
airworthiness and I imagine something similar in the many other countries
that Murphy aircraft are built and fly.

Then there are the regular entries like oil changes, broken parts fixed,
dents and dings repaired, etc.

I'll upload maintenance logbook entry samples for airframe, prop, avionics
and engine when I have a chance.

It is amazing how quickly you go from aircraft manufacturer to aircraft
maintenance mechanic. The worst part is you know who built it and the pilot
who dented it...just look in the mirror.
