Very true Nancy!!! People these days seem to always be in such a big
hurry. Sometimes a person just needs to sit back, relax and take a deep
breath.
I am probably one of the SLOWEST builers on this site. I recieved my kit
back in 1999. Due to military shuffling us all over the world I have not
gotten alot done on my kit. I was also in a very bad auto accident that
left me immobilized for nearly 2 years and I still have residual problems
making it hard to get much done. But I am thankful I am still alive and
will one day finish my Rebel. There are many days when I think I should
just try and sell my kit and the damaged Rebel I have but then I come to
my senses and change my mind. Another great incentive was getting a ride
in Si Smith's abosolutely georgous Rebel!!! Everytime I consider quitting
the build and getting something else I recall the feeling of the controls
and the performance he plane has......it was an ear to ear grin when I
stepped out of his plane.
Even with some of the new planes that have come out on the market I
believe the Rebel is the best compromise for the price. Sure if I had tons
of cash I would love one of those Cub Crafters Super Sport Cubs with the
180 hp engine. A guy could build at least 2 Rebels for the price of it
though.
Thanks to guys like Wayne, Bob, and a few others out there giving us the
constant acalades of the Rebel we should be able to all get our Rebels in
the air. I sure hope the economy gets better thus allowing Murphy to
continue producing kits and parts.
Okay, I'll quit rambling.

7 weeks ago I sent them a nice polite inquiry and followed-up 4 weeks
ago with another nice note, so far, no sign of life in Chilliwack
despite all the assurances here that all is looking up and take it easy
on them, times are tough. Some people got windshields by rocking the
boat, maybe that's what is needed. Not my pleasure but it'd be nice to
see some sign of life to an inquiry that wants to spend cash........
It is truly a PITA to want to spend $ and not receive the courtesy of a
simple response.
Does anyone have Darrel Murphy's address, maybe he'll get someone to
answer??
