Andrew,

Didn't know Grove made gear for AC that heavy (3500 lbs), interesting. Did
you have Grove custom make the gear for the Moose?

Jeff

[rebel-builders] Grove Gear

Post by grand canyon airport » Sun Feb 19, 2012 5:40 pm

Jeff,

I'm responding for Andy who is currently standing next to me. Grove custom
made a one piece spring aluminum landing gear for the two Moosesss we are
building together. The gear was designed for 3700 pounds and weighed 1 pound
less than the two pieces (together) of steal supplied by Murphy. A week or
so ago. Andy sent some pictures to Bpb P.

[rebel-builders] Grove Gear

Post by Jeff Micheal » Sun Feb 19, 2012 5:40 pm

Hi Wes & Andy,

You're more than welcome to post pictures in the "Moose" section of this
forum. I'm sure there are many other builders/owners that may be interested
in your Grove Gear selection. I for one find it very interesting and would
like to follow up at a later date when your testing your (both) A/C's.

Thanks for the information, it just goes to show...... there are other
options.

Cheers,
Jeff
