Engine for sale suitable for a Moose

This engine and prop is still for sale. He is now asking 28K, and when I
asked what is the lowest he would let it go for, he said 26K. So I thought I
would let you guys know again, in case someone is looking for this type of
engine. It is a certified angle valve version of the 540, and is rated at
290 hp. Again, this includes the CS prop.

Here is an engine for sale from a Found aircraft at the Fort Langley airport
near Vancouver BC. The engine and plane are both working fine right now. He
just wants to change it out for a new higher hp engine so he can get better
performance on floats.



Thought it was a good deal with only 250 hours and including the prop, so I
offered that I would let you guys know here, before he posts it on
Barnstormers, and the other aviation rags.

Hi Walter, I would like you to put the engine on your web site if possible.
That would be great! It is a Lycoming IO-540G1D5 290hp, it has 250hrs since
it was rebuilt by Valley Areo Engines in Langley. The Prop is a Hartzell
88inch 2blade and it also has 250 hrs on it. I am asking 32,000.00 for both.
They would be great for a Moose or a Super Rebel. Call me to discuss if you

flight as I am still using them up until I start the switch. Thanks again.
