Another Downside of Purchasing an Oler Kit

Post by craig » Sun Feb 19, 2012 5:21 pm

Well, I should have known that things were going to smoothly. Today I started fitting the side panels FUS-24 to the tailcone. Hmmm...the holes don't line up. Turns out that MAM sent out a memo in 1993 saying that the side panels and FUS-25's in some kits had holes drilled incorrectly. My kit happened to be one of them. At that time they offered to replace them but the kit owner had to let them know. The prev owner of #207 didn't check.

So, I either have to buy new or make them. Unless someone has some extras lying around--a long shot I know.
It might be a long shot that MAM would have them as well. Oh well, I have a call in to them. If anyone has a stack of FUS-24's and 25's and wants to share, let me know! Craig
