SR3500 Flush Doors

Post by kyle martin » Sun Feb 19, 2012 5:16 pm

Hope March is treating everyone well.

Has anyone tried/succeeded in making their doors flush mounted?

It is something I have thought a lot about, but have not seen (on a murphy).

It seems as though it would be fairly straightforward. I would be doing it
on seaplane style flip up doors.

I guess you would just need a lip around the perimeter of the door sill, and
a latch that drew the door inward to seal.

What do you think? Just stick with what is proven? It would sure look a lot
cleaner.

Any input is appreciated.
