you want onto an SDcard (up to 1GB for my 2000c). In fact the fine
detail is appropriate for hiking. Similar to the MapCreate software that
they use for the USA. Interestingly Lowrance told me that Canada maps
will be replaced by something else in the future and I suspect that
might coincide with the next model upgrade. Now that memory is about as
cheap as the packaging presently included with the disks, it would make
sense to just load it all into internal memory or a large memory card.
