[rebel-builders] N616PM Crash and repair

Paul,

I'm glad you're safe and sound, which is what matters most, and I hope
you're able to get 374R repaired promptly.

Ron

is we still don't know why I lost power. Almost 100 hours of relatively
trouble free flying and then this! Rebel did what it was designed to do,
i.e., protect ME. No injuries. Major damage to cabin, wings, flight
controls, prop, flaperons, etc.

Anyway I'm posting to find out if there are any kits available east of the
Mississippi that I can use for parts. There's apparently going to be a bit
of a wait for parts from Murphy and it might be a better deal to try and
get
an entire kit. If anyone knows of anything available I would appreciate a
holler at my email or on the builders group.

Second question is does anyone know of a shop on the East coast USA that
they would recommend for either all the repair or partial?

Very sorry to hear about the damage but like you said, it protected you
thank goodness. A recent Trade-A-Plane had the following ad:

MURPHY REBEL w/Lycoming O-320 engine. All metal kit 1/4 completed. Flying
Club Project or you complete. Make offer. Steve Roszel, VA (540) 364-2959;
roszel@aol.com or John Curtis (540) 229-6756.
