Thanks for the support of long experience, Dick !

I have seen several builders use the 'reduced pressure' trick,
with 'brushable ProSeal' (it's thin, like honey - designed for sealing...
and safer than thinning regular ProSeal). This trick works well
on leaky rivets too ....

You can get low suction by stuffing a Shop Vac hose in the
filler neck - do not stuff rags around it !! You just want
reduced pressure - not to implode your wing !

Many times, the leaks are around the stringers on the top rear -
remember to leave the wing with the top DOWN after installing the top,
or adding ProSeal, so the stuff doesn't droop off. If necessary,
you can cut an inspection hole outside the tank, to apply
the ProSeal. Remember to add a doubler around the oval
opening, inside, when closing it up. (Oval - so you can slip
the doubler inside easily ....)

Craig some of the guys on the site have suggested in the past;
pressurize the tank 2 PSI max (don't blow up your wing!) soap bubble

Bob?), and hope it will be sucked into the seams and rivet holes. Clean
off the outside surfaces before the stuff cures. Hopefully the puddle

drawn into the leak path. Let it cure a few days (70*) or a lot longer
if colder. Re-pressurize and try your luck again.
If it works great, if not use Bob's suggestions.

There aren't ANY !! DO NOT SLOSH !!!!!!!!

I have seen LOTS of 'slosh jobs' - that had to be opened up
& cleaned by hand and completely re-done !! It WILL peel
off & plug your screens ..... and it'll leak anyway !

If you can find the leak, just go in through the filler neck,
with a small brush on a wire, a mirror, and a flashlight - or just
cut in inspection holes, and seal it properly. Often, the 'brushable'
ProSeal - like honey ... will seal up a small leak.
