Those walleye sound better than an $18 burger any day. I'm going to go to OSH
on Fri. just to meet a few of the builders at the float plane base for
dinner. I'm just 120 miles or about 2 Hr. drive south of OSH so it's no big
deal to buzz up for a day. I'll say hello for you to anybody at the dinner.

Did not hear if anyone was hurt in the other plane.

It was not the MOOSE! ! It was their other plane that was coming to OSH to
show off the smaller engine that they had developed. I don't know who the
manufacture of the plane was or where it was coming from. That's why they
trucked the MOOSE into OSH and reassembled it there so that they had at least
one demo plane to exibit.

They didn't want to take a chance and have NOTHING to show.

OSH

Does anyone know if MAM is going to have a get together at OSH this year like
we had last year? ? ?

If they don't, Lets pick a night and place to meet (Thur or Fri.) and down one
as a group.

It has always been good to get together and share our war stories about our
building and flying some of the greatest home built planes around.

Steve H.,

I have no idea what MAM may or may not do.

Nonetheless, I would enjoy meeting with the other builders on this list
during the day or evening collectively or individually.

If we meet of an evening, Friday or Saturday would work best for me.

I will be there for the week and will spend part of each day at the Contact
Magazine booth, drop by.

My mobile number is 816-507-1434.

To John, Steve, Mike B and others that will be at Oshkosh
I'll be leaving Thursday nite (22nd) or Friday morning from Edmonton and
hope, weather permitting, to be in Osh Sat/Sun. I'll be camping in the
homebuilt section. My registration is C-GSMS on a Christavia (Champ) white
with black trim. My buddy's aircraft is either F or G REN and is blue with
a white nose. If there is nothing posted here on the site by then and there
is a get together, would someone be so kind to let me know. I have John's
number from the list and will try and keep an eye on the notice boards.
Maybe volunteering in the welding tent Wed Thurs Fri. Would be nice to put
some faces to the names. If not too warm, there shud be a cold beer around
the camp site.
