Since your Rebel kit has been around a while, and changed hands,
before you do very much work on the corner wraps, you should check the
THICKNESS of the ones you have. The later kits were upgraded to .025 thick
corner wraps, instead of the .020 used on earlier kits. (I believe
the NEW part number is FUS-70 ..) THe thicker corner wraps are HIGHLY
recommended, especially for heavier engines and/or rough ground.
While the old .020 corner wraps worked well enough, they were
VERY sensitive to dents - a small dent could grow to a crack quickly !

It is suggested to hammer the tapered corner wrap for the rebel into a
Murphy Aircraft Mfg. Ltd.fitting for a better fit. Then the manual says, 'While forming, make trail
fittings often.' What's that mean ? Fit it.
Also, I stumbled on a builder support page from Murphy's web site. Am I
missing anything here?
