moose/rebel powerplant

Hi. My name is Chris. I am still/again thinking of aquiring a moose but I am looking for opinions on the powerplant. I am tempted by the V8 for lots of reasons but am looking for opinions. Does anyone have any first hand experience with any of the PSRU options? Robinson, Vesta, geared?
