Why sell a Moose?

Post by Eddie Moran » Sun Feb 19, 2012 12:08 pm

Hi y'all.
I had a personal email from a member asking why I wanted to sell the Moose. He asked if I did not like it. He wanted to know why I would sell such a machine.
I love the Moose. I put my life "on the line" in this airframe, into N320VT. Not in regards to the airframe but the engine. I did two dead stick landings in my Moose due to the test engine. My wife filmed one. You never read any NTSB reports about a Moose with a Bombardier engine. That is greatly due to the Moose airframe.
I have alot of history with the Moose.
But.................I have two boys who want to learn to fly. 14 and 12. So next year they will start. The Moose to not the ideal trainer. I want to do loops and rolls and that sort of stuff. The Moose is not ideal for that.
I work for Southwest Airlines so I can go to XYZ for free. The Moose is not really fast.
I really think this airplane would be the perfect airplane for me.........in about 20 years but for now it has to go.
