Outback tailwheel option on the moose

Post by Wayne G. O'Shea » Sun Feb 19, 2012 12:04 pm

Just to give it a proper subject title for searching...and to also state
that is the tire for the 1800 amphib main gear.

That is how I do it as well Jean! Pick a starting point and measure for
channel locations. Mark them out and start drilling.

Hi Jean: I would be surprised if a "matching" technique worked for
either
floor area due to the fact of the varying angles of the various
channels.
The lexan sounds like a pretty accurate method. My own method was
simply to start with 4 corner holes with floor in place - remove the
floor panel - connect the holes, measure and transfer centerlines. I
have done this method
3 times now with great success. Bob J Rebel 652,725,192/731

instead
floor,
the
sheet
are different (3 pieces vs 1 piece), the inner floor is longer at
the cabin front, and there is a angle (inner always shorter than
outer), could I use the "hole matching technic" or it is better to
use the "lexan one"?

p.s.: french to english translation have been difficult.
