[rebel-builders] downloading whole list?

You need to use a newsgroup reader to download the messages. Any reader
will work. The NNTP server is news.dcsol.com, and it requires a login... so
if you have not already, you will need to create an account on the archive
web site, then use that username and password in the news reader.

Duh... I just saw your email address! So use the bransom account to setup
your news reader.

Most news readers will only pull X number of headers at a time, and default
to something like 200. You'll want to increase this as much as you can
initially to pull the archive of over 31,000 messages... otherwise it will
take you forever to get them all! Also make sure you configure your reader
to get the body of the message as well as the header... most only download
the header by default.

Thanks Mike. I did end up finding the message I was looking for.
Initially I was searching with From set to "irishfield" and Body set to
"dimple" (no quotes on either for the search). The search fails even tho
those two conditions are met. It succeeds when I take away the From
criterion (irishfield), and then just manually look down till I found the
post I was looking for from Wayne -- msg #30336 1/7/2007.

Thanks too for the nntp method to download the whole enchilada, I'll give
that a whirl.
