Murphy wheels

Hi

Just curious if anyone has any tips for installing/retro-fitting the Murphy
wheels and axles on a conventional gear Rebel. My manual only mentions the Matco
wheels.

Ken, Just unbolt the axles on your matco's from the gusset plates and remove
complete with axle block. Then slide the new Murphy wheel assemblies axle
into it's place, drill and bolt. Pretty much that simple! Wayne

Thank you Wayne. I hate finding surprises after drilling expensive parts! Now if
only the temperature will go above freezing....

Ken, just make sure that when you order your wheel set, that you specify
axles with the extended inner "stub", so you don't get the bolt on flange
style for the spring gear! Wayne

I am still running FOKM on the old Matco Gold wheels which were thrown
in with the deal when I bought FOKM. Daryl strongly recommended I spend
the money to buy new wheels for her as these sometimes crack leading to
big trouble. I've had about enough trouble now so am looking for a set.
If anyone on the group has a set they want to part with, I will give
them a good price for them. If not, I will order a set from Murphy prior
to flying her again.
