[rebel-builders] Rebel - Elevator Control Horn Alignment

Rich,

As for the two "extra" EL-26's, you will find that you will most likely use them for the elevator trim..... if you so elect to install one on your Rebel.

Jeff

I received 15 EL-26 elevator-rudder ribs in my kit. I used five
for the rudder. It looks like I am going to use four more for
each elevator. That leaves two. Are those spares? I really hate
it when there are parts on the workbench after I put something
together! Haha!

Thanks a bunch guys!
Rich

[rebel-builders] Rebel - Elevator Control Horn Alignment

Thanks Jeff!

Do you know the answer to my previous question on the control horn alignment on the elevators? I have not gotten any answers from here or Murphy tech support.

All I need to know is how the control horn is aligned to the line made by the elevator's ribs. Does it hang down perpendicularly?

Thanks again.

Hi Rich
On the Elite it bolts onto the forward spar, and runs up and down 90 degrees
from the spar IE straight up and down from a horizontal elevator. I guess on
your type it may be different though.
