No, we do allow wheels, but you better have lots of air in them for when we land on lakes. Actually, I was the only float guy the last time I flew with Bob and the Ramble gang (east of Spokane that is). But if you have floats, you don't worry so much about IFR (I follow roads). Even to our Nimpo Lake float fly-in they have a dirt strip there, and lots of Cessnas and Pipers on wheels, so should be no problem for any Murphy plane.
