Claude Lepage in Sydbury had his Rebel 912S on Full Lotus burning oodles of fuel in the last month. Did his training with Dave Loveman along with one of his buddies, so over 36 hrs of flying in 6 days.

At his request I went to Sudbury for 4-5 days to do some extra flying to get him more comfortable with take offs and landings. Also flew out to his camp in Gogama and back next morning. That was an interesting landing on glassy water at "9:45 PM." ???, ouch, were are the runway lights on your lake?

Sure did enjoy flying that 100 hp, excellent take off at "high gross" (legal, of course), cruise of about 80 kts on the gps or about 10 kts more than my 80 hp.

Good luck Claude, should be solo anytime now.
