Moose wreck; no one hurt

Post by Ted Waltman » Sun Feb 19, 2012 10:53 am

I wrecked Moose N142SR on Saturday at a Fly-In in Western Kansas. Full
report is here: http://www.i1ci.com/flying/moose/wreck.html

No one is more ashamed, humiliated and thoroughly upset than I am.

Ted,

As I tell my kids who are now driving. "stuff can be fixed or repaired, people
are the only thing that matter". You have reinforced the old adage of no
matter what FLY THE PLANE.

My hat is off to you for having three people walk away to fly another day.

Thank you for sharing your experiance and good luck with the rebuild.

Brad (R195)

Ted,
Like everone we are glad you are ok. Thanks for keeping us informed. As it
has been said many times, it could happen to anyone. And anyone who
thinks it couldn't - well I wouldn't want to fly with them. I'll fly with you
anyday.
Scott

Sorry to hear the news, but remember...machines are replaceable, people
aren't. Thanks for the pics and the honest recount of what happened...a new
asterisk goes in my personal checklist.

Get it back together...you're still closer to completion than I am!
