Any ideas for removing a small bit of plastic windshield protective
coating? It all came off nicely except for about a 1" x 4" piece and I'm
starting to do damage trying to remove it. Found a reference to dry
cleaning fluid in the archives but of course I don't have any or know
what that is. Someone said "goof off" might work but don't have that
either. Did have an article by Bill Tee from the RAA flyer with a
formula to use but of course I can't find it. One of the ingredients was
something strange as well IIRC. Windshield polish doesn't help. Any
ideas?? This is acrylic of course, not lexan. Would be nice to get this
off tonight as it's going to get some sun exposure tomorrow ;)
thanks
Ken
