on! Simple as that....no noticeable difference behind the stick flying a
conical or dynafocal mounted engine in a Rebel. It's not conical or
dynafocal that is lighter or heavier...its' wide deck or narrow decks that
have a weight difference as well as some models have heavier cranks.
Wouldn't let any of that hinder a deal you stir up for an engine!
If you go with the dynafocal just be sure to leave clearance to the cowl
from the airbox, wiring a bit looser, primer lines with good anti-vibe loops
etc..... cause they move around like mad compared to a conical mounted
engine.

Okay guys I'm thinking WAY ahead here. But I find the
occasional decent deal on 0-320's and am wondering
what is the prefered type of mount? Conical or
Dynafocal? I have read that one is lighter than the
other and one is also better as far as vibration.
I have an 0-320D2J case that I may rebuild but from
some of the engines I have seen it may just be better
to pick up a running engine and rebuild mine later.
