Penetanguishene Ski Flyin

Post by Wayne G. O'Shea » Sun Feb 19, 2012 10:22 am

Just back from checking the lake. Everything we packed is Frozen solid. The
snow, where we didn't pack, now has a slight crust on the bottom and then a
couple inches of slush. Should be absolutely no problems sliding across that
to the parking area. It's nice and powdery on top. No fears...the ice below
is well over 12 inches thick!

This is my last message for today/tomorrow. Paul Turner will send out the
go/no go message in the morning. I'll be fishing a charity fund raiser in
Innisfil....so kinda hope the ski flyin gets put off 'till Sunday! :O)

Have fun if it's a go tomorrow. Bill Rittershofer has secured lots of food,
sounded like Bruce was putting in a Chilli order as well....... so make sure
you and your passenger eat equally! LOL

Cheers,
Wayne
