Top of the Day to Everyone;
I am confused on the placement of the VG's. The suppliers tell me
they need to go one tenth of the chord back of the leading edge (6 inches).
My 185 and all the other Cessnas and all cubs around here have them placed
way forward of that like 3 inches. I would apreciate any expert advice you guys
could give me before I install them on my SR.

VG's on the Super Rebel
VG's on the Super Rebel
Hi Larry,
My VG's are about 6" back, but I have seen another Moose in the 3-4" range.
What I understand the further forward the VG the attachment of the air flow
will last longer and the results are best. The down side is when the
separation occurs the stall can be more radical. My results make me happy.
What do the guys you got them from say?
Al
