Latex Gloves

Just thought I'd post up a "thumbs up" for Stanley brand "Hand Helper" Latex
gloves. I have always used Conform that I bought through Seton. They were
alright (stuck with them for almost 13 years!)...but tore pretty easy and I
always wore two pairs which really cuts down on circulation to my already
bad fingers. I picked up a box of the Stanley Hand Helper Latex one size
fits all (100/box) a couple weeks ago at Home Depot. About $14 if I remember
right. Nice fit for finger dexterity and I only managed to rip one glove
installing about 1000 rivets today. They also held up a bit better to
acetone clean up at the end of the day. Conforms immediately disintegrate
with acetone. These ones lasted through cleaning the tools and during
removal from my hands they finally broke.

Hello

To resist thinner and chemical, do not use latex glove, use nitril glove,
similar in feel and confort but resistant to oil, solvant etc..

Thanks Jean...I have those too. They bust too easy as they are designed to
explode once punctured for easy compromise detection. (at least the box of
Nitrils I have is designed that way). Was just posting that these ones I
found in Home Depot.... that I bought out of desperation.... are better than
what I've used for years.
