While we're on the subject of broken airplanes, here's what happened at Pembroke a few days ago. Pilot and passenger crawled away, though the pilot had a broken pelvis. Lucky, I'd say. The pilot was an infrequent flyer who had trouble with an 8 knot crosswind.
