Dive of Death

Post by Alan Hepburn » Sat Feb 18, 2012 2:18 pm

Folks:

The main feature of my Elite's handling that I am still unhappy with is its tendancy to keep pitching down when prodded in a pitch down direction from trimmed level flight. Many people claim that this is because of the near rectangular shape of the front of the elevator spades, and can probably be fixed by rounding the corners. Well, we'll soon know, because I'm in the process of making mine semi circular. Can't get rounder than that. I finished one today, and expect to do the other tomorrow, so if the WX is half decent later in the day, I should have my answer soon. Stay tuned.

Al

Dive of Death

Winds to 100Kmph tomorrow Al. If she is still at the dock...I'd be getting
some extra ropes on here and consider semi sinking her if you have to.

Yep, not looking good in the WX department, but she's in the hangar, so I
should get the job done, and just have to wait for the answer for a few
days.
