It's that time again !!! This coming SATURDAY !!

The next Rebel Builders of Ontario Meeting is SATURDAY, May
7th,
at 1:00 pm. at the RAA-TR HANGAR at the far north end of Brampton
Airport. ======
(North-West of Toronto, Ontario, Canada) (CNC3)
We have been meeting in the HANGAR since the clubhouse BURNED
DOWN !! The rebuilding is progressing, but donations are needed to
complete it. The RAA members will be doing Spring Cleaning in the
morning, but we can use it after 1:00, so be on time !
Bring your own chairs, and we may have to work around any airplanes
that are in the hangar ... those comfortable old couches are gone
forever. :-(
We will have a 'New Clubhouse Donations Jar' at the meeting -
a Twoney or 2 would sure help, as the RAA-TR had no insurance.

We're going to continue our format for this meeting,
with individual 'forums' on each kit type, with Q & A, instead of just
one session. These forums will be ~10-15 minute 'mini-seminars' on the
different kits. We HOPE to have an experienced builder volunteer
to lead the sessions for the Moose, and the Rebel, ideally on a regular
basis for all future meetings.
We're also hoping our key Elite expert (Jack) will make it
to this meeting, but some other Elite'ist' might want to jump in,
and there's room for a Maverick or Renegade section, too, if we have
interest....
There is a new addition to the format - we'll be
recognizing the builder who has made the most progress since the
last meeting - so be here for the introductions & progress updates !!
Last meeting, Ron Leather won the Copper Cleco Trophy - he'll
be bringing it back, so we can award it to YOU this time -
IF you've been busy rivetting ! ;-)
Please put on your thinking caps & bring your 'subjects'...
We need you to pick key topics for meetings, far enough ahead
that builders can round up articles, photos, and pieces to show -
soooooo .... we need YOUR suggestions for TOPICS !!
As the 'type forum' idea continues, these topics will go to the
forum leaders to help them to help you.
We REALLY hope the weather will be good, so we can see a
bunch of "Fly-In" Rebels/Elites/Meeses/whatevers !! The weather
forecast is clear, sunny, and 18 degrees !! Looks like we're finally
going to get a good one !
Don't take chances though, if it's raining, or snowing - better to drive
& arrive alive !!
If you do drive, you can join us for pizza & beer afterward !! ;-)
Keep working on that Rebel, 'cause Rebel Ramble 2005 is
coming ! We're going to replay last year's route, heading NORTH
to Moosonee, July 15th to 21st. More details to follow ....
We'll also have some new guests & Rebel builders, and another
draw for Rebel crests, or some new Rebel hats etc. ....
Should be an interesting meeting !
