Alvin,
Based on my C-172 exhaust it would not fit reasonably. I don't know if
any of the Mooneys used an O-320 but I do know that the newest Mooney
O-360 PowerFlow is really compact. The main problem is that PowerFlow
does not want to work on low volume, one off applications. I would take
the same position in their place. Additionally, the Money PowerFlow is
expensive! If you want to persue this I would find an O-320 Mooney (if
that exists) or other tightly cowled aircraft and look at the
installation. You will then have to evaluate if it will work.
Personally, based on our experience, I don't think the delta performance
is worth the delta time, effort, and money. As always, your results may
vary.

No such thing as an 0320 Mooney. All Mooney's Since mid 1960's are all 360's.

Well, I should have said 0360 or better. There was a FADAC Porsche engine
Mooney back in the early 90's. But never any 0320's that I'm aware of.
